One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
For shopping fun, head to Myeongdong Shopping Street or Creative Life Store KEY. Get outdoors at Bukhansan National Park and Cheonggyecheon Stream. There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, take a stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, take in panoramic vistas at N Seoul Tower, and make a trip to Insadong.

Vancouver, Canada to Seoul is an approximately 13.5-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of train and flight. Get outdoors at Seoraksan National Park and Cheoksan Foot Spa Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sokcho: Bangtaesan Recreational Forest (in Inje-gun) and Yangyang-gun (Osaek Jujeongol Valley & Naksansa Temple). Next up on the itinerary: hike along Ulsanbawi Rock, enjoy the sand and surf at Cheonjin Beach, Head underground at Geumganggul Cave, and admire the sheer force of Biryong Falls.

Traveling by car from Chuncheon to Sokcho takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Gyeongju.

Do your shopping at Jagalchi Market and Shinsegae Dept. Store Centum City. Take a break from the city and head to Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach. Step out of Busan with an excursion to Oedo Botania in Geoje--about 1h 45 min away. And it doesn't end there: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggung Temple, get great views at Taejongdae, don't miss a visit to Seokbulsa Temple, and wander the streets of Gamcheon Culture Village.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Visiting Seongsan Ilchulbong and Hallim Park will get you outdoors. Step out of Jeju with an excursion to Halla Mountain in Seogwipo--about 44 minutes away. There's lots more to do: Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, take in the spiritual surroundings of Gwaneumsa Temple, head outdoors with Hamdeok Beach, and enjoy the sand and surf at Geumneung Eutteumwon Beach.
