Located in the heart of the country, Namibia's capital city Windhoek receives a constant influx of tourists, in part because of its international airport.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like National Museum of Namibia and Geological Survey Museum. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Namibia Craft Centre and Maerua Mall. Go for a jaunt from Windhoek to Sossusvlei to see Deadvlei about 5h 30 min away. Spend the 9th (Thu) spotting exotic species with a safari tour.
