Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Sun): steep yourself in history at Clock Tower (Tokei-dai), enjoy breathtaking views from Sapporo TV Tower, then ponder the world of politics at Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, then get engrossed in the history at Historical Village of Hokkaido (Kaitaku-no Mura), and finally examine the collection at Sapporo Beer Museum. When traveling from Furano in December, plan for much hotter days and a bit warmer nights in Tokyo: temperatures range from 14°C by day to 4°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Sat) so you can travel to Kyoto.
