Popular historic sites such as Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Nijo Castle are in your itinerary. Museum-lovers will appreciate Kyoto International Manga Museum and Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum. When in Kyoto, make a side trip to see Todai-ji Temple in Nara, approximately 1 hour away.
