The only Mayan site built to overlook the ocean, Tulum remains a coastal paradise preserving the last vestiges of a pre-Hispanic civilization.
Step off the beaten path and head to Climbing Tours and Cenote Santa Cruz. Get in touch with nature at Mayan Beach and Shark Diving. Step out of Tulum with an excursion to Akumal Monkey Sanctuary & Rescued Animals in Akumal--about 32 minutes away.
