Las Vegas

Sin City

Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at The Strip and The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort. You'll explore and learn at The Mob Museum and Madame Tussauds - Las Vegas. Change things up with these side-trips from Las Vegas: Willow Beach (in Fort Mohave), Henderson (Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, Green Valley Range, &more) and Boulder City (Veteran's Memorial Park, Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum, &more). On the 9th (Sun), do a day of sightseeing from above with a helicopter tour. There's lots more to do: explore the stunning scenery at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, get a dose of the wild on Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours, take in the pleasant sights at Amargosa River Project, and walk around The Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area.
