Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Bring the kids along to Kondoi Beach and Yonehara Beach. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Cape Hirakubozaki and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. On the 30th (Mon), spend an adventurous day with a kayaking and canoeing tour. There's still lots to do: stop by Pinion Direct Shop.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Ishigaki is an approximately 20.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, bus, and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 7 hours traveling from Tel Aviv to Ishigaki. Traveling from Tel Aviv in March, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Ishigaki, with lows of 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) to allow enough time to ride a ferry to Iriomote-jima.

Iriomote-jima

Taketomicho Iriomote-Jima stands as the second largest island in Okinawa.

Miyakojima

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Get outdoors at Sunayama Beach and Aragusuku Beach. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Shimojiiima Island and Irabu-jima Island. There's still lots to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, snap pictures at Kurima Bridge, kick back and relax at Yonaha Maehama Beach, and visit a coastal fixture at Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse.

You can ride a ferry from Iriomote-jima to Miyakojima in 4 hours. In April in Miyakojima, expect temperatures between 29°C during the day and 23°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sun) so you can travel to Onna-son.

Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
