Pamplona or Iruña is the historical capital city of Navarre, in Spain, and of the former Kingdom of Navarre.The city is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, which is held annually from July 6 to 14. Visiting Parque de Yamaguchi and River Rafting & Tubing will get you outdoors. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Hecho Valley and Selva de Oza. Explore Pamplona's surroundings by going to Cueva de las Guixas (in Villanua), Cueva de Mendukilo (in Astitz) and Mallos de Riglos (in Riglos). And it doesn't end there: explore the historical opulence of Palacio Real de Olite, delve into the lush surroundings at Bosque de Orgi, explore the stunning scenery at Foz de Arbayun, and take in the dramatic scenery at Cascada de Belabarze.
