Piran

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Visit Predjama Castle and Piran Minorite Monastery for their historical value. Get outdoors at Škocjan Caves and Svetilnik Beach. When in Piran, make a side trip to see Socerb Castle in Crni Kal, approximately Crni Kal away.
