Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 15 hours traveling from San Antonio to Tokyo. A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Visit Yonaha Maehama Beach and Sunayama Beach for some beach relaxation. Get in touch with nature at Hora Gyoko no Hama Beach and Hauai Waiwai Beach. There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Toguchi no Hama, explore the gorgeous colors at Yabiji, and stroll through Aragusuku Beach.

You can fly from Ishigaki to Miyakojima in 2 hours. In March in Miyakojima, expect temperatures between 72°F during the day and 63°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Tue) early enough to travel to Hatsukaichi.
