Kyoto is known for historic sites, shopping, parks, classes, and museums. A smaller metropolis near Osaka, Suita remains best known for hosting the World's Fair in 1970.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Suita: Osaka (Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Castle, & more). And it doesn't end there: take some stellar pictures from Kuchu Teien Observatory, wander the streets of Shinsaibashi, don't miss a visit to Kuromon Market, and examine the collection at Museum of Oriental Ceramics.
