Your inner history buff will appreciate Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple and Naritasan Omote Sando. Appreciate the collections at Tokyo National Museum and Fire Museum. Change things up with these side-trips from Tokyo: Narita (Naritasan Park & Sakura no yama Park) and Kamakura (Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, Kencho-ji Temple, &more). Go for a jaunt from Kyoto to Uji to see Mimurotoji Temple about 40 minutes away. One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Trickeye Museum Seoul and Changgyeonggung Palace. Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace and Hwaseong Fortress for their historical value. Go for a jaunt from Seoul to Suwon to see Suwon Jeil Church about 1h 10 min away.
