Get in touch with nature at Mount Hakodate and Dosanko Farm Hakodate. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Goryokaku Park and Motomachi. Get out of town with these interesting Hakodate side-trips: Trappist Monasteries (in Hokuto) and Onuma Park Walking Path (in Nanae-cho). You can do a combination of shuttle and flight from Hakodate to Sapporo in 1.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. In July, daily temperatures in Sapporo can reach 26°C, while at night they dip to 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Sat) early enough to travel to Kushiro.
