An old imperial city, Rothenburg is the main tourist stop on the scenic Romantic Road of Bavaria.
Step out of the city life by going to Raubtier- und Exotenasyl Ansbach and Flussbad Hainbadestelle. There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Vieille Ville, steep yourself in history at Spital Bastion, look for gifts at Kathe Wohlfahrt's Christmas Shop, and make a trip to Galgengasse.

Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
Head to Viktualienmarkt and Markt am Wiener Platzfor plenty of shopping. Attractions like Deutsches Museum and Alpine Coaster Oberammergau make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of Munich to go to Rettenbach and see Naturschutzgebiet Holle, which is approximately 2 hours away.
