You'll find plenty of places to visit near Cockermouth: St John's in the Vale (in Threlkeld), Boat Tours & Water Sports (in Glenridding) and Aira Force Waterfall (in Penrith). Venture out of the city with trips to Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens (in Burford), Cotswold Motoring Museum (in Bourton-on-the-Water) and Moreton-in-Marsh (Cotswold Falconry Centre & Batsford Arboretum). There's lots more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Walks With Hawks, relax in the rural setting at Cotswold Farm Park, sample the fine beverages at Cotswolds Distillery, and make a trip to The Model Village.
