Although officially a separate city, North Vancouver is actually a suburban area of Vancouver on the north shore of Burrard Inlet, a shallow-sided fjord.
Grouse Mountain has been added to your itinerary. Take a break from the city and head to Zipline and Northview Golf and Country Club. Get some cultural insight at Lighthouse Park and Fort Langley National Historic Site. Change things up with these side-trips from North Vancouver: Squamish (Smoke Bluffs Park, Gillespie's Fine Spirits, & more), Whistler (Mountain Galleries at the Fairmont, Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre, & more) and Britannia Mine Museum (in Britannia Beach). And it doesn't end there: walk around Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, get engrossed in the history at Mennonite Heritage Museum, see the interesting displays at Burnaby Village Museum, and take in the history at Westminster Abbey.

To see traveler tips, ratings, other places to visit, and more tourist information, go to the North Vancouver day trip planner.

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major airports are Vancouver International Airport and Victoria International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 11°C in November, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Vancouver.
