Get out of town with these interesting Tokyo side-trips: Oyama Afuri Shrine (in Isehara), Pola Museum of Art (in Hakone-machi) and Kiyose Sunflower Farm (in Kiyose). On the 19th (Tue), get to know the fascinating history of Hieizan Enryaku-ji Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple, then steep yourself in history at Genkoan, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Enkō-ji Temple, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Sanzen-in Temple. On the next day, steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Kennin-ji Temple.

You can take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 3 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. November in Kyoto sees daily highs of 19°C and lows of 10°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Wed) to allow enough time to take a train to Hiroshima.
