A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Louvre Museum and Musee d'Orsay. Get some historical perspective at Eiffel Tower and Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. Change things up with a short trip to Palace of Versailles in Versailles (about 48 minutes away). There's much more to do: visit Montmartre, wander the streets of Le Marais, get a taste of the local shopping with Saint Germain des Pres Quarter, and get to know the fascinating history of Île de la Cité.

For a daily dose of excitement, medieval jousting tournaments are held twice per day between the two walls--while this may sound like a typical touristy show, it's actually an entertaining display of combative competition and horsemanship.
On the 23rd (Thu), take a stroll through Cité de Carcassonne, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint-Nazaire, take an in-depth tour of Musee De L'ecole, thenview the masterpieces at Cooperative Artisanale de la Cite - Le Vieux Lavoir, and finally do a tasting at O'Vineyards. Appreciate the collections at Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild and Musee d'Art Moderne Et d'Art Contemporain. Visit Vieille Ville and Cathedrale Saint-Nicolas a Nice for their historical value. Step out of Nice to go to La Colle sur Loup and see Parc des Rives du Loup, which is approximately 34 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of Palais Lascaris, see the interesting displays at Musée Marc Chagall, get great views at Colline du Chateau overlook, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
