Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
You'll get in some beach time at Fornillo and Spiaggia Grande. Get out of town with these interesting Positano side-trips: Spiaggia Lannio (in Cetara) and Vietri sul Mare (Sol’Art Ceramiche & Le Vigne di Raito).
