Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.

Head to Ginza and Asakusafor plenty of shopping. Do some cultural sightseeing at Senso-ji Temple and Edo-Tokyo Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tokyo: Kamakura (Hase-dera Temple, Kōtoku-in, &more), Hakone-machi (Pola Museum of Art & The Hakone Open-Air Museum) and Mt.Momokura (in Otsuki). There's much more to do: take a stroll through Odaiba District, don't miss a visit to Tokyo Skytree, stop by Akihabara, and shop like a local with Yokohama Chinatown.

If you are flying in from Argentina, the closest major aiports are Tokyo Haneda International Airport, Narita International Airport, Ibaraki Airport / JASDF Hyakuri Air Base and Yokota Air Base. In December, plan for daily highs up to 14°C, and evening lows to 4°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
