Here are some ideas for day two: explore the historical opulence of Hiroshima Castle, steep yourself in history at Atomic Bomb Dome, then get engrossed in the history at Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims, and finally contemplate the long history of Itsukushima Shrine.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Hiroshima is an approximately 17-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. Traveling from Tel Aviv to Hiroshima, you'll lose 7 hours due to the time zone difference. The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Head to Nishiki Market Shopping District and Fuuka-Kimonofor some retail therapy. Change things up with these side-trips from Kyoto: Todai-ji Temple (in Nara) and Jindoji Temple (in Kizugawa). There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Gion, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, and go for a walk through Arashiyama.
