Tokyo is known for historic sites, parks, shopping, museums, and nightlife. Start off your visit on the 20th (Fri): steep yourself in history at Heian Shrine, contemplate the long history of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and then make a trip to Gion. On the 21st (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, take in nature's colorful creations at Chishaku-in Meisho Garden, then steep yourself in history at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, and finally contemplate the long history of Sanjusangendo Temple.

Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Sun): pause for some photo ops at Todai-ji Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Hokke-do, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Nigatsu-do Temple, identify plant and animal life at Nara Park, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Kasuga Grand Shrine, and finally take an in-depth tour of Kasuga Taisha Museum.
