"Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Aiguille du Midi and Glacier des Bossons. There's much more to do: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, stroll through Vallee Blanche, get outside with Les Gorges de la Diosaz, and fly down the slopes at Domaine des Planards.

Bournemouth, UK to Chamonix is an approximately 7-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also do a combination of car and train; or do a combination of train and bus. Kick off your visit on the 28th (Tue): admire the masterpieces at Carrieres des Lumieres, snap pictures at Pont d'Avignon, and then step into the grandiose world of Palais des Papes.
