A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Louvre Museum and Arc de Triomphe are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Your inner history buff will appreciate Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre and Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris. Step out of Paris with an excursion to Palace of Versailles in Versailles--about 48 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: explore the world behind art at Musee d'Orsay, admire the striking features of Sainte-Chapelle, and take a stroll through Île de la Cité.

Although its luxury shops, nightlife, casinos, and high-end restaurants give Cannes a feeling of exclusivity, this classic French Riviera city has alternatives to suit every budget.
For shopping fun, head to La Croisette or Marche Forville. Visit Vieille Ville and Chateau de la Napoule / Musee Henry-Clews for their historical value. Step out of Cannes to go to Nice and see Coco Beach, which is approximately 50 minutes away. There's still lots to do: get a taste of the local shopping with Rue d'Antibes, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and pause for some serene contemplation at Eglise Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage.
