Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Take a break from the city and head to Parasailing & Paragliding and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Get out of town with these interesting Ljubljana side-trips: Vintgar Gorge (in Zgornje Gorje), Bled Island (in Bled) and Postojna Cave (in Postojna). Next up on the itinerary: wander the streets of Ljubljana Old Town, take in the views from Triple Bridge, stop by Metelkova, and don't miss a visit to Prešeren Square.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Ljubljana is an approximately 6.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle. The time zone changes from Israel Standard Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. When traveling from Tel Aviv in August, plan for slightly colder days in Ljubljana, with highs around 31°C, while nights are much colder with lows around 15°C. Split, Croatia

Experience an authentic Adriatic lifestyle in Split, the largest city along the sea's coast.
Take a break from the city and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Punta Rata Beach. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Sumartin Beach and Paklina Beach. Change things up with a short trip to River Rafting & Tubing in Omis (about 52 minutes away). The adventure continues: contemplate the long history of Palazzo di Diocleziano, walk around Marjan Park, see the interesting displays at Froggyland, and admire the striking features of Cathedral of Saint Domnius.

Family-friendly places like Sunj Beach and Srebreno Beach will thrill your kids. Get outdoors at Lokrum Island and Zarkovica Animal Shelter. Go for a jaunt from Dubrovnik to Popovici to see Pasjaca Beach about 1h 10 min away.
