Tucked high in the Pyrenees and home to fewer than 65,000 residents, Andorra La Vella seems at first an unlikely tourist hotspot.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Sant Esteve d'Andorra la Vella and Museu Casa d'Areny-Plandolit. Take a break from the city and head to Cami del Circ de Pessons and Sorteny Nature Reserve. Next up on the itinerary: trek along Rec del Sola, get outside with Casamanya Peak Trail, steep yourself in history at Barri Antic, and browse the different shops at Andorra 2000 Centre Commercial.
