Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Barcelona Cathedral and Passeig de Gracia. Get some historical perspective at Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar. The adventure continues: take a stroll through El Barri Gòtic, admire the masterpieces at Museu Picasso, browse the fresh offerings at La Boqueria, and make a trip to Casa Mila - La Pedrera.

Munich, Germany to Barcelona is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train.
