Madrid is known for its cultural and artistic heritage, lively nightlife, and a dynamic culinary scene.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Prado National Museum and Casco Historico de Toledo. Shop till you drop at Mercado San Miguel and Gran Via. Venture out of the city with trips to Toledo (Iglesia de San Ildefonso Jesuitas, El Transito Synagogue and Sephardic Museum, &more). There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Royal Palace of Madrid, see the interesting displays at Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, identify plant and animal life at Faunia, and walk around Parque del Retiro.

Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.
On the 15th (Sun), get engrossed in the history at Palacio de Viana, hunt for treasures at Mercado Victoria, then visit Jewish Quarter (Juderia), and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba.

Modern yet historic, Málaga is a lively city famous for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Mon): hunt for treasures at Calle San Miguel, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Bioparc, then look for all kinds of wild species at Crocodile Park, and finally contemplate the long history of Alcazaba. On the 17th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: visit Marbella Old Town, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa La Carihuela, and then admire the masterpieces at Museo Picasso Malaga.

Getting from Cordoba to Malaga by train takes about 2 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Cordoba in July, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Malaga: temperatures range from 36°C by day to 24°C at night. On the 18th (Wed), let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, then wander the streets of Albayzin, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Mirador de San Nicolas, and finally stop by La Talega. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: look and learn at Science Park (Parque de las Ciencias), then contemplate the long history of Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla, then look for gifts at Artesania Del Arbol, and finally look for gifts at Munira Leather.
