As the southernmost point in Europe, Tarifa is famous for having the continent’s best windsurfing conditions, making it a well-known surfer’s paradise.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Thu): get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, then kick back and relax at Playa de Valdevaqueros, then get outside with Tarifaboom, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Los Lances Beach. Keep things going the next day: don't miss a visit to Castillo de Guzman el Bueno, appreciate the history behind Puerta de Jerez, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa de Bolonia, and finally glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area.
