Manila, Philippines to Queenstown is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone changes from Philippines Time (PHT) to New Zealand Standard Time (NZST), which is usually a 4 hour difference. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Tue) so you can catcht the bus to Te Anau.

Set among the picturesque peaks and glacially carved fiords of Fiordland National Park, Te Anau offers those wishing to explore the park a great place to stay and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of a small town in an enviable location.
On the 22nd (Wed), contemplate the waterfront views at Milford Sound, then trek along The Chasm Walk, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Gunn. On the next day, get great views at Te Anau Lion Lookout Point, then take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Te Anau.

You can take a bus from Queenstown to Te Anau in 3.5 hours. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Thu) early enough to travel to Rotorua.

Discover out-of-the-way places like Waimangu Volcanic Valley and Mt Maunganui Main Beach. Visiting Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and Redwoods Treewalk will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Rotorua side-trips: Taupo (Huka Falls Walkway & Souvenir Outlet), Mount Maunganui Base Track (in Mount Maunganui) and Papamoa Beach (in Papamoa). There's still lots to do: take in the natural beauty of Orakei Korako Geothermal Park & Cave, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, trot along with a tour on horseback, and trek along Okere Falls Track.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from Te Anau to Rotorua takes 9 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of ferry and car. In January, daytime highs in Rotorua are 27°C, while nighttime lows are 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Waitomo Caves.

Head deep beneath the surface of the earth at Waitomo Caves, a village and cave system that draws both extreme sports enthusiasts and those wanting something a little more relaxed.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Tue): get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, Head underground at Ruakuri Cave, then Head underground at Waitomo Glowworm Caves, and finally hike along Ruakuri Walk. On your second day here, explore the fascinating underground world of Caveworld, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, then take in the dramatic scenery at Marakopa Falls, and finally snap pictures at Mangapohue Natural Bridge Walk.
