Queenstown

Sheltered in an inlet of Lake Wakatipu, the resort town of Queenstown enjoys a strong reputation for its adventuring and skiing opportunities.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Tue): cruise along Glenorchy-Queenstown Road, contemplate the long history of Kawarau Suspension Bridge, and then get outside with Arrowtown Village. On the next day, have some family-friendly fun at Dark Ride, look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, and then trek along Queenstown Hill.

With its history proudly stemming from the Scottish settlers who came here during the colonial era, Dunedin's streets are lined with well-preserved examples of Victorian and Edwardian architecture, while a new culture of nightlife and fine dining takes hold around them.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Thu): explore and take pictures at Waikouaiti Beach, then look for all kinds of wild species at Orokonui Ecosanctuary, then steep yourself in history at Olveston Historic Home, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at First Church of Otago. The main tourist town in the Bay of Islands area, Paihia gives visitors a good range of accommodations, a convenient town center, long sandy beaches, and interesting architecture.
Step out of the city life by going to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Waitangi Golf Club. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Pompallier Mission and Printery and Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
