Calgary, Canada to Tokyo is an approximately 14.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of bus and flight. You'll lose 16 hours traveling from Calgary to Tokyo due to the time zone difference. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Calgary in October: highs in Tokyo hover around 26°C, while lows dip to 18°C.
