In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Sun): explore the different monuments and memorials at Monumental Cemetery and then admire the masterpieces at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Mon): trek along Sentee di Sort, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, and then admire the striking features of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Go for a jaunt from Venice to Padua to see Scrovegni Chapel about 54 minutes away. There's much more to do: explore the activities along Canal Grande, enjoy breathtaking views from St Mark's Campanile, see the interesting displays at Museo Ebraico di Venezia, and make a trip to Basilica di San Marco.

You can take a train from Milan to Venice in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of flight and train. March in Venice sees daily highs of 58°F and lows of 41°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Thu) so you can catch the train to Florence.

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Change things up with a short trip to Leaning Tower of Pisa in Pisa (about 1h 10 min away).
