Drive from Amsterdam to Bruges in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of flight and train. In August in Bruges, expect temperatures between 25°C during the day and 15°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Mon) early enough to catch the train to Brussels.

Although its luxury shops, nightlife, casinos, and high-end restaurants give Cannes a feeling of exclusivity, this classic French Riviera city has alternatives to suit every budget.
Venture out of the city with trips to Marineland (in Antibes) and Nice (Colline du Chateau overlook, Vieille Ville, & more). There's still lots to do: get a taste of the local shopping with La Croisette, see the interesting displays at Musee Escoffier de l'Art Culinaire, and make a trip to Le Nomade.
