Start off your visit on the 11th (Fri): make a trip to Plaza de la Identidad, look for gifts at Dulceria Gota de Miel, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, and finally get engrossed in the history at Palacio Alvarado.

You can drive from Guachochi to Hidalgo del Parral in 3.5 hours. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Fri) early enough to travel to Chihuahua.

The city of Chihuahua is the state capital of the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Get in touch with nature at Batopilas Canyon and Nombre de Dios. Visit Basilica de Chihuahua and Iglesia de San Francisco for their historical value.
