The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
Kids will enjoy Prater and Schonbrunn Palace. There's much more to do: admire nature's wide array of creatures at Schönbrunn Zoo, explore the world behind art at Belvedere Palace, admire the landmark architecture of Rathaus, and browse the eclectic array of goods at Vienna Naschmarkt.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Vienna is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Tel Aviv to Vienna. Traveling from Tel Aviv in June, things will get little chillier in Vienna: highs are around 29°C and lows about 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) to allow time to travel to Salzburg.

You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Mirabell Palace and Toy Museum - Bürgerspital. Alpbach is a town in western Austria in the state of Tyrol.HistoryThe earliest written record of the name Alpbach comes from 1150, although human settlement is known to have begun there before and around the year 1000, and a bronze axe found at Steinberger Joch in 1860 suggests that the route was already in use in the Hallstatt period.Christianity was first brought to the region in the 7th and 8th centuries by Irish and Scottish monks, and the patron saint of the parish church is in fact St. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Tue): take in the dramatic scenery at Wasserfall Hart, then see the interesting displays at Hexenwasser, and then make a splash at Freibad Wildschonau. On the 10th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the activities along Achensee and then stroll through Badestrand Achensee Nord.
