Echmiadzin Monastery and Saint Gayane Church will appeal to history buffs. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Zvartnots Temple and Golden Grape Armas Estate. Step out of Vagharshapat to go to Araks and see Sardarapat Memorial, which is approximately 42 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: learn about winemaking at Armenia Wine, get engrossed in the history at Echmiadzin Historical & Ethnographic Museum, delve into the distant past at The Churches of Echmiatsin and the Archaeological Site of Zvartnots, and steep yourself in history at Saint Hripsime Church.
