Start off your visit on the 11th (Sun): make a trip to Olmsted Point and then trek along May Lake Trailhead. On your second day here, identify plant and animal life at Nature Center at Happy Isles, then take in the dramatic natural features at Glacier Point, and then stroll through Wawona Meadow.

You can drive from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi; or do a combination of subway, flight, bus, and taxi.
