Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
French Quarter and The National WWII Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Discover out-of-the-way places like Laura Plantation: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site and Old St. Patrick's Church. Get a sense of the local culture at The Strip and The Neon Museum. Step out of the city life by going to Valley of Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. There's lots more to do: listen to music at Bellagio Fountains, take an in-depth tour of Titanic, and take a stroll through Las Vegas Downtown.
