Get a sense of the local culture at Buchanan Street and Glasgow Cathedral. Get in touch with nature at Bracklinn Falls Bridge and Callander Crags and Flanders Moss National Nature Reserve. Get out of town with these interesting Glasgow side-trips: The Old Town Jail (in Stirling) and Dunblane Cathedral (in Dunblane). Get some historical perspective at Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Distillery Tours and Glenfiddich Distillery. Step out of Inverness to go to Nairn and see Nairn Beach, which is approximately 30 minutes away. Braemar is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, around 58mi west of Aberdeen in the Highlands. On the 15th (Tue), step into the grandiose world of Braemar Castle, then sample the fine beverages at Royal Lochnagar Distillery, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Loch Muick. On the next day, stop by Glenshee Pottery and then grab your bike and head to Glenlivet Mountain Bike Trails.
