Tokyo to Kyoto is an approximately 2.5-hour train ride. You can also fly; or drive. In April, daytime highs in Kyoto are 22°C, while nighttime lows are 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sat) so you can take a train back home.
