Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Sun): kick back and relax at Kondoi Beach and then find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area. Keep things going the next day: explore the fascinating underground world of Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave, get outside with Cape Hirakubozaki, and then kick back and relax at Yonehara Beach.

Miyakojima

Miyakojima
A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Get in touch with nature at Sunayama Beach and Aragusuku Beach. Bring the kids along to Toguchi no Hama and Yonaha Maehama Beach. Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Visiting Scuba & Snorkeling and Cape Manzamo will get you outdoors. Get a sense of the local culture at Okinawa Peace Memorial Park and Nakijin Castle Ruins. Change things up with these side-trips from Onna-son: Sefa-Utaki (in Nanjo) and Okichan Theater (in Motobu-cho).
