Sitting on the southwest slopes of Mount Fuji, Fujinomiya makes a popular starting point for climbing trips to the famous mountain's summit.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Wed): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, then delve into the lush surroundings at Miho Seacoast (Miho no Matsubara Beach), then contemplate the long history of Okitsu Zagyoso, and finally make a trip to Satta-toge Pass.
