Popular historic sites such as Piazza San Marco and Peggy Guggenheim Collection are in your itinerary. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Castello di Miramare - Museo Storico and Santa Maria dei Miracoli. Step out of Venice to go to Ferrara and see Castello Estense, which is approximately 1h 15 min away.
