Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dubrovnik: Ston (Fort KaStio, Church, St. Nicholas, & more), Sutvrac Fortress (in Lopud) and Cavtat Old Town (in Cavtat). There's much more to do: wander the streets of Old Town, browse the exhibits of Art by Stjepko, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Saint Blaise, and snap pictures at Franjo Tudman Bridge.

Traveling by flight from Zagreb to Dubrovnik takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Zagreb in January, expect Dubrovnik to be a bit warmer, temps between 12°C and 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Korcula Town.

Orebić is a port town and municipality in the Dubrovnik-Neretva county in Croatia. On the 17th (Fri), learn about winemaking at Korta Katarina Winery, take in the awesome beauty at Sveti Ilija Mountain, and then admire the landmark architecture of Monastery of Our Lady of Andela. On the next day, do a tasting at Vino Spaleta, enjoy the sand and surf at Plaza Divna, get great views at Vidikovac Orebic, then sample the fine beverages at Natura Antunovic, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Gospe od Karmena.
