A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Plaza de España and Archaeological Ensemble of Italica will appeal to history buffs. Escape the urban bustle at Playa de Matalascanas and Parasailing & Paragliding. Change things up with a short trip to Hermitage of El Rocío in Almonte (about 1h 10 min away). On the 25th (Mon), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Parroquia de San Lorenzo Mártir, take in the spiritual surroundings of Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, then see the interesting displays at Casa de las Cabezas- Patios de Leyenda, and finally play a few rounds at Club de Campo de Córdoba.

You can take a train from Seville to Cordoba in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In May, plan for daily highs up to 84°F, and evening lows to 54°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Granada.

On the 26th (Tue), explore the stunning scenery at Los Cahorros, appreciate the extensive heritage of Plaza de los Aljibes, and then explore the historical opulence of Alhambra. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: wander the streets of Albayzin, explore the historical opulence of Nasrid Palaces, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica de San Juan de Dios.

Traveling by car from Cordoba to Granada takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. When traveling from Cordoba in May, plan for little chillier days in Granada, with highs around 77°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 53°F. Escape the urban bustle at Fundación Cueva de Nerja and Burriana Beach. Visit Playa de la Cala el Canuelo and Playa de Cantarrijan for some beach relaxation.
