Venice of the North
Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Anne Frank House, and other attractions you added. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to The Jordaan and Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House) and St. John's Cathedral are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Amsterdam side-trips: Kroller-Muller Museum (in Otterlo), Nederlands Openluchtmuseum (in Arnhem) and World Heritage Kinderdijk (in Kinderdijk). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Moco Museum, get engrossed in the history at De Nieuwe Kerk, pause for some serene contemplation at Sint Nicolaaskerk uit 1628, and engage your brain at Body Worlds.
