Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batllo are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get some historical perspective at El Barri Gòtic and Barcelona Cathedral. A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Appreciate the collections at Royal Alcázar of Seville and La Galeria Roja. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Un Gato en Bicicleta and Antiguedades el Museo. There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Plaza de España, admire the landmark architecture of Torre Giralda, get a taste of the local shopping with Calle Sierpes, and pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de Sevilla.

Traveling by train from Madrid to Seville takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. Traveling from Madrid in February, things will get a bit warmer in Seville: highs are around 18°C and lows about 8°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a bus to Ronda.

Renowned for its deep gorge, the quaint, whitewashed village of Ronda has preserved its charm as an Andalusian country village.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Bodegas Cortijo Morosanto and Bodega Kieninger. Take a break from the city and head to El Tajo de Ronda and Paddock Paradise Ronda.
