Singapore, Singapore to Tokyo is an approximately 10.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone changes from Singapore Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. Prepare for cooler weather when traveling from Singapore in December: high temperatures in Tokyo hover around 14°C and lows are around 4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) early enough to take a train to Ito.

Not too far from the capital, Ito has developed a reputation as a resort town, with a fair portion of its area lying within a national park.
Jogasaki Coast has been added to your itinerary. On the 12th (Thu), relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, then take in the awesome beauty at Mount Omuro, and then explore the activities along Jogasaki Coast. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get to know the resident critters at Izu Shaboten Zoo, enjoy the sand and surf at Atami Sun Beach, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinomiya Shrine.

You can take a train from Tokyo to Ito in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Traveling from Tokyo in December, expect a bit warmer with lows of 11°C in Ito. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Fri) so you can drive to Izu.

Amagi Tunnel (Former Amagi Tunnel), then see the interesting displays at Joren Falls Museum, then admire the sheer force of Joren Waterfall, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shuzen-ji Temple.

Izu is just a stone's throw from Ito. In December, plan for daily highs up to 15°C, and evening lows to 11°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Numazu.

Get a sense of the local culture at Kinpusenji Temple and Niutsuhime Shrine. Get some historical perspective at Yoshimizu Shrine and Kokawadera Temple. Explore Osaka's surroundings by going to Yoshino-cho (Mt. Yoshino & Yoshino Mikumari Shrine), Shori-ji Temple (in Kudoyama-cho) and Hirohashibairin (in Shimoichi-cho). There's more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Negoro-ji Temple and make a trip to Koyasan Station.

Traveling by train from Hamamatsu to Osaka takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Expect little chillier evenings in Osaka when traveling from Hamamatsu in December, with lows around 4°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Hiroshima.

In December in Hiroshima, expect temperatures between 13°C during the day and 4°C at night. On the 21st (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
