Montreal, Canada to Quito is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Montreal in July: high temperatures in Quito hover around 26°C and lows are around 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Quilotoa.

A trip to Banos, a relatively small town in the picturesque Andean highlands, ensures plenty of chances for outdoor activities like horseback riding, hiking, climbing, canyoning, and mountain biking.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Sun): learn more about the world around you at Museo Fray Enrique Mideros, scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour, and then admire the sheer force of Pailon del Diablo (Devil's Cauldron). Keep things going the next day: get great views at La Casa del Arbol, head outdoors with Canopy double puerta del cielo, then grab your bike and head to Ruta de las cascadas, then indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of the Virgin of the Holy Water (Nuestra Senora del Agua Santa).

Start off your visit on the 6th (Tue): meet the residents at Fundacion Los Monos Selva y Vida, admire the natural beauty at Jardin Botanico las Orquideas, then look for all kinds of wild species at Yana Cocha, and finally see the interesting displays at Nate Saint House.
